Wow, kudos to anyone that has more than 1 child... Life is busy with 2 kids! Luckily new babies sleep a lot which is a little tender mercy to moms so they can adjust to the new life I guess. Luckily, my husband has been a huge help with the transition as well. He made me breakfast for a good week and helped out with the dishes. As I get back to creating in the kitchen, it makes me laugh to find all the creative places he put the dishes away in. At least everything is clean, right? Well, life continues on as normal now as a new mom of 2! Even my bananas are brown (which if you know me, is perfectly normal). I seem to always have some brown bananas on hand despite my best efforts to use them before that point! No worries though! I just invented a new Paleo bread!! Introducing Paleo (Grain Free) Banana Bread! Enjoy! Paleo Banana Bread(Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Grain Free, Paleo) Created by jalene but inspired by my Almond Cranberry Pound Cake Recipe Makes about 8-10 (1-inch thick) slices Ingredients:

She's here!Just wanted to let you all know we welcomed a new addition to our family this past weekend... Baby Girl: Ella Born (underwater): August 10th @ 8:21 pm Weight: 7 lb 5 oz Length: 20 & 1/4 inches long Thank you to all the wonderful midwives at Better Birth in Orem, Utah that helped out with my birthing experience. It went incredible! I highly recommend them if you're in the area. I was able to have an all-natural birth (in WATER) which was seriously so soothing and quick! (She came out in 18 minutes of pushing!) Thank you also to Jessica Ayres for my amazing Foot Zoning Saturday afternoon that helped my hormones all align and break my pattern of 10 minute apart contractions down to 3 minute apart contractions! I'm a believer! And most importantly, thank you to my amazing husband who is the best birthing coach anyone could ask for! I couldn't have done it without you babe. Thanks for all your love and support everyone! I'll be back to posting great recipes after a short maternity break. ;) Til then, enjoy our long list of Gluten Free Recipes til I get back! Loves Gluten Free Banana Almond PancakesPardon my lack of new recipe but I'm due here in 2 days! (We'll see when the baby decides to come though...) ;) If you haven't tried this pancake recipe, it's seriously one of our favorites. It's Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and even Sugar Free but you'd never know because they're some of the yummiest pancakes around. Click on the picture to view the recipe. Enjoy! |
