School's out! Break out the bbq's and swimming suits! Summer here we come. I'm not even going to school but summer break still gets me excited. (Probably because I was a school teacher for 7 years...) There's nothing like the sun and some fun to make everything feel better. I don't know about your family but we love a good bbq. And whenever I think of bbq's I think of condiments. And whenever I think of condiments I think of "shoot, does that have wheat in it?" So this week I'll be posting some of our favorite gluten-free condiments. Happy summer! Homemade Ketchup(Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Sugar-Free) Created by Simply Sugar & Gluten-Free Ingredients:
FREE GIVE-A-WAY!In celebration of our condiment week, I thought I would give-a-way one of our favorites! We LOVE LOVE LOVE this sea salt. I've talked about it a couple of times before and I use it in all my recipes that call for salt. We order this from a company called Premier Research Labs. Here's why we like it:

This next gluten-free, dairy-free dish is perfect for just that. You're going to LOVE the taste of the dressing! (It'll make you forget you're being healthy and eating a salad!) Enjoy! To add more protein you can add diced cooked chicken as well. Note from jalene:
That is actually what my husband said to me last night after I made him a salad with this dressing on it. He even licked his plate...ha ha! So I guess you can take his word for it that this is a good one. Like many of my other recipes I had to attempt this many times before I got it "plate-lick-able." ;) I'm sorry it's not Dairy-Free but I'll keep working with it and see what I can do in the future. The recipe has two parts because the normal recipe calls for a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing and I try to NEVER use ready-made packets in my cooking because of all the extra preserving chemicals and possibly MSG or Gluten they put into them. So the first part to the recipe is how to make your own version of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing and then the second is the fabulous recipe. Then, if that wasn't enough I added a third! Enjoy!
