Chuck Pot Roast in the Crockpot

- 4 lb chuck roast (we used organic)
- sea salt
- 1 cup water
- 6+ carrots, peeled and cut into 3rds (we used organic)
- 5+ small potatoes, peeled and cut in 1/2 (we used organic)
- In a large crockpot low add the chuck roast. Sprinkle the outside of the roast with sea salt (liberally). Cook for about 12 hours (on low).
- After 12 hours, add the carrots and potatoes and continue cooking for 4 hours or until tender.
